On thee other boxing site, i saw some Britts claiming, Khan is the MOST TALENTED Boxer in British history. They were talking in terms of TALENT, obviouslly not as a fighter, cause hes not even the.best today. They also said he could go down as a ATG, if he puts it all together, & he was weight drained & 140 thats y he struggled a little there, a move to 147 should help his chin ala cotto. Thoughts??
He isn't the most talented British boxer ever. But he does have shed loads of talent. People can slag Khan off all they want... yeah he can come across as a bell end and yeah he has a shaky chin, but at the end of the day he has proven his worth at world level & as much as you want to discredit him, he has bags of heart. Herol Graham, Michael Watson.. that's sheer natural talent.
Physically talented maybe, but Naz, Joe Cal and others give him a real run in that department. Natural talent is probably Michael Watson. Over all, Jimmy Wilde.
Weight drain is bull ****. But he is arguably the most talented, his weakness is his chin but others who may argue would be the likes of McGuigan, Calzaghe, Lewis and Hamed
You don't even need to look very far back to find a more talented British fighter -- Naseem Hamed. Khan is pretty much all handspeed. Aside from that, he has a few good areas, but nothing really special. Hamed, on the other hand, had handspeed, devastating power, great reflexes, and he was far more agile and fluid in his movement than Khan.
He has a weak chin which makes people ignore his unique, brilliant talent. However you can't get to the elite level with a glass jaw, poor *******.
