Pac went up to 150 - and I agree you should never be able to fight for titles at catchweights, but I don't have a problem with catchweight fights if they even the playing field while giving us good fights - anyway I digress - he beat Margarito but said he took more punishment than in any other fight, held his hands up and said, they are too big, can't defend that title- they dropped the belt and Koncz simply said Marg was too big for Pacquiao, he won't fight above 147 again.

Floyd fought Oscar, won the title. Didn't say I'll never fight at 154 again. Came aganist Cotto years later, won the 154 belt, said he beat the #1 JMW fighter, said he fights opponents at their comfortable weight. He said as recently as April he wants to DEFEND his 154 belt (check fightnews link on P5) - so he never said 154 was too big for him, especially as his first fight there was ~6 years ago!

You can't make claims like that and then not back them up by taking on any #154 fighter, especially if you're the #1P4P...yet somehow in your twisted logic you're able to say both situations are the same? Seriously???

 

I am sure that even if Canelo accepts to fight Floyd at
147, it will be not enough for Floyd. He will invent more
excuses not to fight Canelo.

 

Last time I checked Canelo is the WBC #154 champion and regular #154 WBA champion? Did he move up to 175 recently since the Trout fight? If he did, that fight didn't do too well as didnt' hear much about it
