Does Magee dislike Froch?

Not really. I remember in the build up to their fight there wasnt any bad feeling, in fact they said they actually liked each other.

He said he had been in with both and Bute was his honest pick, along with most other peoples take on it.

Kessler has already actually defeated Froch, so I dont see why that would be an outlandish pick

 

I thought there was a bit of bad temper during their fight, I think Carl was a bit more hot headed back then.

 

Nah, he just thinks Kessler is better then Froch.

 

Pretty standard for a fighter coming off a lose to pick their victor in their next fight.

 

Froch has praised Magee in the past as someone he rates and also said magee doesn't get enough credit. This could be to make his win seem better though I suppose. Kessler also said that froch gave him some tips on magee before their fight and told him to target the body which he did. Maybe that pissed Magee off a bit?

 

I think that Debbie has the hots for Froch to be honest- dont tell Paul.

Magee would be a good fight for Groves/DeGale in six months time.

 

Brian gave Froch a decent enough fight whereas Bute and Kessler just destroyed him. Its probably just his opinion oweing to the fact hes fought all 3.

That being said I do remember hearing that Froch was talking **** to Brian during their fight. Brian had said when they were in the clinch he kept saying things like "your just a shite club fighter" and things like that. He said that annoyed him as he had no bad feelings going in and thought Froch should have shown him some respect. So he could be a bit pissed.

 

I can't completely remember so I might be a bit off base with this but I think Froch spoke a bit in his book about how he thought Magee was a bit of a dirty fighter so that may have got to him a bit.

Probably picking Kessler as lets face it it doesn't make Magee look too good if Froch goes out and beats a guy that wrecked Magee last time out.

I don't think so, I think its mainly that Magee fought Froch when he was no way near as polished or formidable as he is now. That is his memory of Froch.

Whereas he got battered by Kessler and Bute.

 

Froch has improved a lot since he fought magee at domestic level

 

Froch said allot of things when Bute was fighting Magee like 'I knocked this guy out 6 years ago' that might have pissed him off a bit.
