Why did Golden Boy not want vada to test for Broners next fight?

Because Schaefer said months back(after either the Ortiz-Berto cancellation, or the Khan-Peterson cancellation), that they would no longer use VADA.

So if someone wants to fight a GB fighter, or even if a GB fighter is stupid enough to insist on vada, there will be no fight.

    Simple as that. :good

plus all that extra bull**** testing is expensive ...as they are finding out...more money out of the promoters pocket footing the bill for something the commisons already take care of

because they wont tell people when somebody fails test A it is really simple they wait until they find out sample B was failed too. If you have a problem with USADA you are an idiot they test all of America's Olympic athletes and are under WADA just like VADA is

There is so much wrong with this post I don't even know where to start... VADA won't tell people when somebody fails the test? Hello, PEDerson and Berto were both caught under VADA. USADA on the other hand, sends the results to Golden Boy first, who then can make the decision whether they want to do anything with those results or sweep them under the rug (see: Morales, Wright vs Quillin, and likely PEDerson vs Holt).

USADA's contract with GBP is entirely different than it is with the IOC.

To be fair, a promoter does need to be told, as they need to be able to sort out the new arrangements.

I can agree to that. But anyone that thinks USADA and GBP are on the up and up is blind as hell. VADA caught Berto and that was handled like it should have been handled. USADA and GBP tried to hide the Morales results. Now if they are that worried about keeping the results of a shot to **** Morales hidden then what lengths will or have they gone too to hide the results of some of the younger or bigger money stars?

USADA is a farce. It only helps the promoter know who is juicing.

It does not protect boxing or the opponent. Which is exactly what drug testing is supposed to do.

Don't they have a deal with USADA?
