I think if Matthysse wins they will make Garcia/Floyd in September
If they make Garcia/Matthysse they will lose alot of money because Garcia is becoming a star

I was thinking about that too. Regardless of who will win this bout ( Lucas vs Lamont ) , they will keep Garcia for Floyd , then after the fight with Floyd, maybe they will match Garcia with Broner or something like that ...

Yes it will build up either mans name, the only way it doesn't happen is if Garcia faces Mayweather next

The target date for Garcia to meet Saturday night’s winner is Sept. 7.

After Garcia defeated Judah, he came to the post-fight news conference and said to count him in.

“You know me, I'll fight anybody,” Garcia said. “If that's what [manager] Al Haymon [who recently signed Matthysse] wants, then that's what I'll do. I think Peterson will win [against Matthysse].”

Garcia plans to be ringside on Saturday night, too.

“Garcia is committed to it and the other two want to do it as well,” Schaefer said. “All the fighters are on board and so are the managers. I have to still discuss the money but [after Saturday] we’ll sit down with Showtime and work out a license fee.”

Probably depends on what the outcome tonight is.

If Lucas takes it in a dominant and devastating fashion, they'd keep away Garcia for the time being. Garcia being more marketable and has that unbeaten record.

They'd probably marinate it until the public cries out for it to happen or just let either of the two move up to 147.

The winner of the Matthysse-Lamont-Garcia tourney is DEFINITELY worthy of a shot. The most worthy since Hatton.

If the winner is Garcia, he'd have a resume of:

    W Matthysse
    W Judah
    W Khan
    - beast.

I think Peterson will win to be honest, but if he does win he will face Garcia.
