Boxing Buff is dead on though. Heavyweights will fall occasionally. This is the nature of the heavyweights.

I still like Wilder and it's quite possible that the division will be his for the taking in 3 years. Take the Klitschkos out of the equation and who are we left with? Diver Haye ( whose chin is questionable at best), Tyson Fury ( who was put on his keyster by a former cruiserwieght who did not have devastsating power in the cruisers and weighing less than 215), Price ( whose chin is very shaky), Pulev ( who is probably the best but doesn't have devastating power), Bryant Jennings ( who was dropped hard by no-name Bowie Topou), and Malik Scott ( who couldn't break wind).

  4. Boytsov
    Andy Ruiz Jr.
    Szpilka
    Abdusalamov
Helenius (if back in old shape)

Especially Boytsov is a monster. He is like the Golovkin of Heavyweight, unfortunately he had a lot of problems with his managment and they won't let him fight.

For the people saying it happens in heavyweight boxing, the guy who knocked Wilder out was a cruiserweight.

In fact, the only heavies I can think of right now that have really impressive chins are Arreola and Vitali.

  7. Wach?? Even though he has not any skills .. but the chin is definetly diamond.

    McCall also did not retire.

Good names to add to the list. But again Helenius doesn't appear to have a great chin, Boytsov was impressive years ago but God knows where he stands today. Andy Ruiz JR is still too green but has great potential. Hell I'll throw in Franklin Ya Ya Lawrence. I know next to nothing about Szpilka other than he beat Jameel McCline and has only 14 pro fights. Abdusalamov hits like 12-gauge but was dropped hard by the afformementioned McCline. So I still stand by my claim that Wilder has a real shot at being a force.

Though I will acknowledge that there is a chance that Wilder goes the way of Seth Mitchell.

He was knocked down, didnt seem hurt?

That was a flush punch anyway, nothing like that cuffing shot that made David Price look like an upside down turtle.

i think wilder and abdusalamov are the ones that gonna make some noise. i like those two alot

wilder was moved slow but with his limited experience i get it.he could be the cream of the crop.i also like abdusalamov.the only thing that gets me a little nervous is he seems to eat alot of right hands.needs to work on that but then he wouldnt be him so i expect to see him in some really exciting fights.he comes to get it.abdusalamov is what we call a real fighter

If Wladimir retires in three years, Haye will be pushing 36 and the division will be anyone's for the taking. Bum on bum violence for years to come :bbb

Wilder might just emerge as a leading light at that point - but so could any of the other prospects around his age.

Boytsov has never fought anyone worth a damn so how can you say that. Boytsov and Pulev will never win a belts mark my words. Helenius is better than both Boytsov and Pulev. Helenius has just lost something. I'm not sure if he will ever be the same again. Abdusalamov has major punching power and is crazy in the head but again still not tested.

Wilder will KO Wlad in the first round if they ever fight.
