For some reason which i still cant understand why.... Everybody thought Austin Trout was the 154 pound King and was going to embarrass Canelo . I thought he looked lackluster against Cotto (Cotto looked bad as well) and won a close fight imo . But this "1" win alone made him out to be someone who was going to change the sport of boxing . Thats the kind of praise this guy was receiving . Anyway....

I say Cotto gives a Canelo a run for his money for about 5, 6 rnds . As soon as he begin to tired out like he typically does . Canelo will smell blood and TKO him in 8.

Canelo/Kirkland is a fight i would love to see . Kirkland would give him a WAR . Still see Canelo coming out on top though .

YES Canelo has what it takes to clean out 154 .

No, he's not good enough. His boxing is not what his fanboys would like to make evryone believe. And forget going to 160.

In 1 year he will have flopped hard.

No he cannot in my opinion.. But he has to actually fight the natural 154lbers for us to see.. He took on one in like 10 fights, lets hope it doesn't take that long to face another..

People love to say Cotto isn't a natural JMW. Floyd sure as hell isn't... So he's fought one in years, but that's not an issue? Now he wants Floyd or Cotto? When are we going to demand he step up, and not just once every 5+ fights? We seriously can't judge his skill against people his own size with one fight, but he showed new stuff against Trout. Would be great if he continued this trend.
