I have been thinking of about that fight. I didn't really think it would be a possibilty. I would love for Rigondeaux to become the legitimate world bantamweight champion as well as the jr. feathweight champion. He is already facing bigger men at jr. featherweight. Rigondeaux walks around at about 125, where as a lot of his opponents walk around at 135 to 140.
Would be amazing to watch those two fight, but I don't think Moreno wants to fight at 122. Why does Rigondeaux' wiki say Abner Mares match on 9/14/13 at MGM? I've heard nothing about that, and can't find anything... Sick joke?
He should, a very good fighter with the greatest competition in those weight classes being with TR fighters.
Is he willing to go down there though? I know he doesn't want to move up, but haven't heard anything on his feelings on going back and forth between 118 and 122.
