Look at the amount of BJJ black belts that are in MMA, the majority will be Brazilian, added to that, the true elite level JJ practitioners are mainly all Brazilian. Nearly every fighter who is practicing JJ for MMA purposes is taught or mentored by a Brazilian.

Date your research back through MMA history, more champions, legends hailing from Brazil than any other country listed to date. By far!

Brazil was and probably still is the breading ground for MMA.

The Gracie are the founding father's of modern BJJ, no boxers as far as I'm aware? Maybe you've misunderstood the thread lad.

 

Heard it's a homo oriented martial art and is popular in countries where there are huge gay populations. BJJ fans would rather watch two homos wearing panties, rolling and making love on the octagon than watch two warriors beat each other on a boxing ring.

 

They had to take their martial art to Brazil when they realized Scottish peeps don't like the homosexual nature of their art. They found Brazil a haven after realizing it's huge gay population after watching it's street carnivals.
