Yep,the touts did go crazy and I was lucky to get a ticket at face value, there will be touts who might get nervy and end up selling them near face value by the end of the week.

The problem was that the fight HAD to be in Nottingham, and they needed it to be on SBO to get Mikkel over here, if I remember rightly? Kessler will be taking home a **** load more than Froch after he gets his Danish PPV money, and I think Froch got jealous.

Its a difficult situation for Hearn, but at the end of the day with all the divisions in boxing today: Neither of these guys are going to become the World Champion in this fight when Ward is the man in this division.

I dont usually post on this message board but some of the ***** being spouted on here is ridiculous. Carl Froch may not be as charismatic or media hungry as Haye but Froch v Kessler is a genuine elite level fight IN THE UK.

When was the last time that happened?

:dealThe way they describe it, you'd think it was like Gatti/Ward. Good fight, nothing more. Watched Hearn's interview yesterday where he described the rematch as a mega fight. It's not even close to being a mega fight.

But people have an opinion on them and that's all that really matters. Khan is the perfect example. Most in the brit forum can't stand him, yet there are probably more threads about him than any other boxer. Even when he fought Julio Diaz, who's not even a big name, the forum went mental with Khan threads. Everytime he does an interview there is a thread to analyse his words. Even if people are tuning in to see him get rocked and do that "samba dance", they're tuning in. Same with Haye. Being a heavyweight helps obviously, but he's a genuine banger (as opposed to Froch who has decent power but not great like it's made out to be), he stirs up controversy and seems very comfortable in front of a camera. Froch....well he's a little bit bland.

Watched the Bute fight in a pub with two Welsh lads. Couldn't stop going on about how JC "would've schooled him."

I don't think this fight could have happened without it being PPV.

But it's a bit rich for a user named kingkhan to accuse other fighters of demanding PPV revenue, when Khan held Allegedly at gunpoint and demanded PPV in order to stay.

The funny bit was that he was promptly executed in less than a minute and that was that.

I think it's because he's been on reality television and in the news a lot for his stunts.
