Paulie is a step up in competition most people want him to go to 140

 

If Broner beats Paulie and stays at 147 he might have to defend against one of the winners between the Thurman/Chavez fight and the Maidana/Lopez fight as they would be highly ranked by the WBA.

To beat Mosley, even old Mosley, you have to the following advantages over him.

1. Be faster than him: Cano is not.
2. Be more powerful than him: Cano is not.
3. Be way bigger and stronger than him: Cano is not. Margarito was bigger and still looked like a rag doll when Mosley clinched.
4. Have better defense than him: Cano has the worst defense of any active WW.
