Lo Greco is covering up and getting drilled by triple jabs converted at the end into guard-bashing hooks, and rights down the middle. Porter keeps strafing on his toes and whipping his fists in from medium to close range. Porter ducks low going to the body and gets shoved, his glove brushing the canvas momentarily. Farhood suggests it could've been ruled a knockdown since a Lo Greco hook did graze across his spine while he was bent over. Lo Greco is jabbing from a guard while turned askew, then dropping his arms to rest between jabs.

Round 6

Lo Greco is walking into jabs and getting shredded as Porter squats in mid-stride and goes to the body in combination. Lo Greco loads up a shot as Porter ducks and turns his back spinning out of the pocket. The referee smirks at him in mock admonition knowing what his intentions were before he pulled the punch at the last second, and then instructs Porter to face his opponent. Porter is chopping the body as he quickly shuffles around Lo Greco.

Round 7

Lo Greco is following Porter around the ring, stopping short and glaring at him from across the Corona logo, imploring Porter to come inside and brawl. Porter declines. Porter circles and pops the left jab into Lo Greco's nose. Lo Greco leans in, slumping, whacking the sides of Porter's body very lightly with arm punches which are mainly an excuse for Lo Greco to grab Porter's hips and prop against him to catch some wind. Porter hits the body and wrestles off a Lo Greco clinch.
