If Broner looks good will he join the 140lb mix?

He could be a very interesting addition. He needs a 140lb belt for his CV even though the really big division is 147lb.

As Peterson still has the IBF belt maybe Broner could drop down and pick up this discount trinket in the Autumn and then assess in options

  2. I think there's a good possibility that he drops to 140
    After the Paulie fight

And I don't believe he would duck anyone like people claim,a man with that
Much self confidence doesn't think anyone can beat him

He might not duck people, but his management certainly will.

Could you seem them being stupid enough to put him with someone like Matthysse? Of course not. His fights will be carefully selected.

People can laugh but Matthysse is all wrong for Broner while he keeps up that defence hes actually not good at, when C level fighters are hitting him too much at 135 whats an A level fighter whos one of the biggest punchers in boxing going to do to him at 140.

I don't think there's a fight I'd rather see than Broner - Matthysse, it would be guaranteed fireworks. The sad thing is it would happen in a hall with about 3,000 fans

Yep, that's what it sounds like coming from GB. WBA love maidana so if he beats Lopez i think he will get the next title shot.

Maidana would be a seriously dangerous fight for Adrian. Don't know that it'd be the smartest route for them to go down.

It's disgraceful if he fights Mosley. Skipping 140 to fight Paulie was bad enough. He needs to step up and take some challenges especially as he's the so called future of boxing.

Having an "0" in boxing is more important than who you actually fight nowadays.

    Sad but true.

To be fair to Broner I think for jumping up 2 weight divisions to challenge one of the belt holders people should give him a bit credit. I think Golden Boy only done this because they see Maglinaggi as a very beatable champion and the fight was only made because he has a belt.

I can see Broner not settling at a weight for the next couple of years and fighting between 130 - 147 for different titles at different weights, depending on who the most beatable champions are at the particular weights.
