You think Lucas beats DINAMITA??? NO way, the only type who trouble jmm are slicksters. Lucas is tailor made for JMM, he may hurt or drop jmm, but thats it. JMM by CLEAE DECISION.

THERES LEVELS TO THIS ****!!! JMM IS SEVERAL. LEVELS ABOVE LUKE!

JMM proving to everyone you CAN develop KO power overnight at 39! And Zab and Devon both outboxed him pretty comfortably!

I have to agree. JMM would be too much for Lucas. He's just too skilled.

Not actually... Marquez has alot of trouble against pressure fighters. Just see his fights against Juan Diaz and Katsidis. He does not have that fleet-footed style to get away from he ropes, and against pressure fighters he has to fight off the ropes most of the time. He wins, because he's a superb fighter, but it ain't all that easy.

Now, Pacquiao, in his prime, that's the guy who loves guys coming at him, because they simply can't match his speed, plus he had the footwork to get away from trouble.

40 year old former featherweights no matter how great, would be advised to stay far away from a guy like Lucas M

If you make Juan six or seven years younger, I'd agree with you.

    Wrong!
A fighter he respects like Pacquiao in fight 3, Marquez can box a clinic.

Juan Diaz and Katsidis are fighters who's punching power Marquez felt and did'nt respect, thus we got to see him display his war skills.

Believe me, a murderous puncher like Mathysse, Marquez is not going to body up and go to war with.
You'd see him move in angles and punch in two's and threes.
A repeat of the 3rd Pacquiao fight.
Marquez is still fully capable of implementing that strategy against a fighter as crude as Mathysse! :bbb

Actually its the opposite! History shows that great fighters can still compete against crude punchers but are troubled by speed and slickness.

Duran vs the much bigger and stronger Iran Barkley.
    Morales vs Maidana.

Study up on boxing history my friends! :D

Marquez is a Master Counter-puncher, if you come looking for him he's going to knock you out. If your game is defense then you have a better chance against him.

Do you honestly think he can take Matthysse's power for 12 rounds?

The premise of this thread is faulty from the start; Lucas isn't a 'pressure fighter'. He can be, yes, but it's shortsighted to say it defines his style.

Wouldn't dare bring real money anywhere near this fight, considering all context :scaredas: ...My vchange tho? Probably 60% on the under and the rest on JMM, cautiously.
