People on here are constantly bitching about Floyd Mayweather's opponents not having any chance of beating him.

He just beat a multi division titlist who hasnt lost in 8 years, but still, people say Guerrero was not suitable.

They hate on his fights with Hatton, JMM, Cotto, Ortiz, etc. Saying they were old, or he made them move up in weight.

Right now people are screaming about how Canelo is the biggest threat out there for Floyd. But even if he fights him, and beats him, Canelo will all of a sudden become a green hype job.

It seems that no matter who he fights, there is no one opponent he can fight to satisfy the haters.

But there is one man out there, a legendary fighter, a future hall of famer, and an ATG that is guaranteed to provide enough of a test to Mayweather that no one could dispute this fight as a geniune brave risk on Floyd's behalf.

That man is a current reigning world champion!

    That man is...

    BERNARD "THE EXECUTIONER" HOPKINS.

    Now, hear me out....

Yes there is what many would consider to be a "huge weight disparity" . This is one of the many elements about this fight that are intriguing and dangerous for Floyd.

Hopkins Defense is second only to Floyd's , and his inside fighting game would really pressure Floyd. Also, BHOP has a helluva right hand, a withering shot that has broken down opponents twice that of Floyd's size.

Also, at 48, BHOP might be the only fighter in the world with as high of a boxing IQ as Floyd Mayweather. His guile and old school trickery would provide a stern test of FLoyd, and actually MAKE Floyd think in there, something most fighters dont have the ability to do to Floyd.

As far as a the size difference, there is a precedent for this. Sugar Ray Robinson was once a light weight, who moved up to fight the Light Heavyweight Champions Joey Maxim. Robinson was 157lbs in that fight, while Maxim was the LT. Heavy limit of 175. Floyd would have to do something similar here, weighing maybe 152-154 and going for the 175lb crown. Hopkins would of course be about 187 on the night, so we are talking a slight 32 -35lb difference on fight night.

It would be a historic feat if Floyd can pull it off. He would still have the speed and age advantage, and his defense is the best in the sport. If it were not for the size, he would be the favorite.

And what if Floyd really went for the gold, and tried to be the 1st man to stop Hopkins?

BHOP has all the tools to trouble Floyd. He's aggressive, slick, with a great right hand, beautiful defense and a solid chin. He's perfect, really.

A mere man is not enough to challenge a boxing master like Floyd.

You need a champion. You need a warrior.

    You need an executioner.

Hopkins Vs. Mayweather - The fight boxing NEEDS!!!

Nah...Even if this were to happen, and Floyd were to win, then Bernard would "have suddenly gotten old overnight".

    Haters gonna hate, unfortunately.

Guerrero is a titlelist in TWO weight divisions, interims dont count, so cut this whole "multidivision" **** out. and he hasn't lost in SEVEN years, and it so happened to be against the only world class fighter in his prime that he ever fought.

Guerrero aint, never was, and will never be ****.

    That is all.

It's just so crazy, it might work.

Providing that John Ruiz isn't available instead of BHop, of course.
