Pacs ko defeat happened when he was still a malnourished boy. That jmm ko was due to Pac Ageing. Now it is not about how strong your punch is but how well you box. Oscar, Margo, Cotto are legit fighters than can KO Pac but their powers were nullified by superior boxing.

JMM was pushing 40 and been in a lot more wars. Pac aging? One of the few boxers who is first green, to "learning" to in prime to shot. Oscar had power that night? Margo is not legit, and cotto is a good win with a 8 round gas tank. Lucas would've KO cotto.

Floyd is older and most of the time coming off long layoffs and he doesn't get sparked as many times as paciquao has. The real reason why Pac gets ko is bc he have a very leaky defense. If Pac doesn't stay moving he will get tag.

 

There is a lot to commend this view of the matchup in question.

Aging has nothing to do with age but on ring wars.You also have to consider ones hunger of the game. Pac would have been koed by those fighters if not for his excellent movement. And Floyd has nothing to do in here. And Pac would not have dominated for over a decade if his defense was that bad. Lots of boxers have tried and failed and it took a master counterpuncher like JMM to finally gave Pac a lot trouble and suddenly people treats Pac as ****. Amazing IQ by people.

Agreed - having Pacquiao in any of these polls is pointless until we see him against Rios. But as said above, Pacquiao of the 4th Marquez fight beats Lucas, too much speed and movement
