Scrap is definitely not a fraud. He's without doubt one of Britain's best ever trainers.

I met up with Scrap a while ago to discuss some of his ideas. We spent over 2 hours testing his inventions and discussed the thinking behind his ideas. I must say, it was a great experience and well worth the trip. I learnt a lot and it changed the way I look at training as well as sparking a few ideas of my own.

A famous boxer once said in an interview "he's a man of ideas" - I think that sums Scrap up perfectly. He's a very creative thinker and extremely dedicated in his pursuit of knowledge.

Some of his ideas may go against convention but none the less they appear to be valid and certainly worthy of consideration.

I think the trouble is, Scrap doesn't like to give too much away on here and doesn't support what he's saying in any detail. If he explained his thinking in person and in more detail, I think his ideas would make much more sense if understood correctly.

 that busy training them you have enough time on your hands to argue with someone who by your own admission 'knows nothing'.

You've worked with Clinton Woods. Qudos for that I liked Clinton and I thought he did fantastic for what he had. Incredible even.

But your not painting yourself in a good light here. Calling people frauds and such is cruel but also in scraps case an absolute lie. He's a fabulous trainer and a great bloke whose always helping out others for very little personal gain.

Scraps theories might go against what text books say and whilst I appreciate what education can give you - whose to say you won't end up looking like one of those dafties who argued that the world was flat.

I like people who think outside the box and approach things from different perspectives. If I want to just hear regurgitated science books then I'd do a degree on biomechanics.
