Yes but reluctantly. Froch-Kessler is a top top fight and I have to see it. It's a disgrace how bad the undercard is and the only 2 worthwhile fights on the undercard are going to be on during the champions league final. It's awful scheduling. I have already ordered it but in essence I'm paying 15 quid for one fight, it's not good value
Im going to London but if I wasn't I would have to begrudgingly pay for it. I think sky treat their sports subscribers very badly. If not free to subscribers it should be £5 or something like that.
Definitely not paying for it. I'm not supporting ppv it's as simple as that. This isn't hagler vs Hearns it's Froch vs (past prime) Kessler and we've seen it once already.
****ing hate to say it but I'll unfortunately be filling Hearn's and Jonseys Tory/UKIP/BNP/EDL pockets for this fight. This is 100% the last time though. What is the expected number of buys for this fight then?
Thats a good comment.Im in the fortunate position of not having to penny pinch but some fans, maybe with young families, might be.So Ill probably get it,but Im going to hang on.I know it didn't set the world alight, but Im more interested in the Bellew return,as it means something to a British boxer. The Froch fight doesn't,and I see a similar fight with a different result.Gonna wait and see what the card looks like on Friday.
I disagree with it being PPV. I think the undercard is a disgrace. I don't think the fight will be great. The hype is actually making me want to watch the fight less and less, it's boring. That said I have a friends BBQ in the daytime and will probably arrive home drunk and order it.
Also talking of watching it in the pub is a bit hit and miss,I think. The only thing you'll be sure of watching is the 2 German teams on Saturday.Bet if I walked in Walkabout Saturday afternoon and asked if they were showing the Froch fight the reply would be "Eh??"
I'm not buying it, on the basis, its not value for money and I will not support something that is ripping off fans.
