Someone was getting KO'd, guaranteed. Even the likes of Benn Gatti etc elected to box when it was in they're interests, not Paul though doubt he was capable, mentally or talent wise.

Im sure that I saw a sparring video of his on youtube where he was going at it full tilt, the lad certainly had a tile missing but always made for an exciting fight, well worth the money :D

I think that he posts on here under the name of "scrap", but can't be sure.

Kirkland, Matthysse and Rafael Marquez would be up there for me but if I had to single it down to one fighter, I'd probably go with Edwin Valero. I've never been more keen to see a fighter live than him. He had an aura about him that I've never seen before or since and I loved watching him fight, seeing him train or listening to the gym stories you'd hear on a regular basis.

When I heard about what happened with him, I was in shock. It was surreal. At that moment, he was my favourite competitor in my favourite sport, so I was really gutted. I was horrified about what had happened and I wish things hadn't happened like they did. I wish we'd seen him fulfill his potential and I wish I could still be a fan of his because nobody around now has that same presence that he had.

It's just a horrible story to think about. As a fan, I feel deprived of what could have been but those feelings are minute in comparison to the disgust, sympathy and sadness that I feel about the end of his life.
