Who is the only man to have floored granite chin Kelly Pavlik and Carl Froch?

His right hand was a bit overlooked...he did have some sting in it, pity he was an awful finisher.

 

Always loved Taylor. Surprised he couldn't improve more.

i like jermaine taylor. shame how his career ended.

He reminds me a bit like berto. On form he looks from a distance like he could beat anyone. But he's just missing those key ingrediants.

 

If Taylor had got Pavlik out of there in the second round it would have changed the way 160/168 played out over the next few years.

Jermain probably would have stayed at middleweight.
Who would have taken his place in the super six or would it have even happened as Taylor was the biggest name out of the three americans involved.

What would Pavlik be doing after getting beaten in the second round of his first title fight.

 

Well......success obviously wouldnt have gone to his head. :yep And chances are he wouldve refocused on his boxing moreso than his partying.

Yeah it sucks what came of JT. But give the guy credit, he fought some monster punchers and wash des Bhops rain so he had some true accomplishments to speak of.

 

Yawn, Taylor was a HBO hypejob who recieved numerous dubious decisions in an effort to push him to the top but even HBO couldn't protect his horrific glass jaw when it finally shattered like an over boiled egg skin.

 

No hype job beats Hopkins twice.

 

Plus whilst Calzaghe cum guzzlers jizz their pants over Saint Joe scraping a debatable SD against 43-year-old Hopkins after getting dropped in the first round, Taylor put on a much better performance in beating Hopkins, not once but twice, three years earlier.

 

Shame JT doesn't know how to throw straight punches.

taylor was froch's ticket to bigger and better things, so if that fight hadn't gone ahead froch wouldn't have been offered his ticket into the super six, and he may well still be calling out calzaghe and never have cracked the big time
luckily for everyone, except jermain, the taylor - froch fight did take place

 

:nut Calzaghe beat Hopkins easier and more clearly than Taylor did.
