If one of my favorite fighters lose now then they just lose. I will keep supporting them until they end up Mosley (old as **** and fighting for money). Seeing RJJ get KTFO by Tarver ****ing sucked. Seeing Morales get his ass beat my Manny sucked as well.
Tyson losing to Douglas RJJ losing to Tarver Tyson losing to Lewis Leonard losing to Norris Taylor losing to Chavez Whitaker losing to De La Hoya Tyson losing to Holyfield Mosley losing to Forrest Pacquiao losing to Marquez Benn losing to Eubank Camacho losing to Haugen Barkley losing to Toney Judah losing to Tszyu Norris losing to Mullings Tapia losing to Ayala
The one's that get me are when afterwards the fighters cry and actually feel devastated about it, you get others who take it on the chin, but some are just ****ed. Morales vs. Pacquiao III comes to mind on that one, the look on Morales's face was horrible to see.
Pacquiao KTFO by Marquez. Donaire schooled by Rungundeaux. And Viloria looked like he was getting slapped around. lol Gave it all they got against the worlds best. THE WORLD'S BEST.
Devastated when Lewis destroyed Ruddock in 2 rounds. Felt worse than when Tommy Gunn KO'd a fat Razor. Next, when The South Pole was demolished in less than a round to Lewis. That felt worse than the Austin, Saleta, and Adamek fights combined, and slightly higher than his other 3 World Title shots. I was with my buddies from University and was bragging all week, educating them on how Golota was going to win the battle of the jabs, and Lewis's chin wouldnt hold up, etc. The last time I felt terrible was when Iron Mike lost to Lennox Lewis. You knew it was going to happen, but each round, you would just hope he would land that one Rahman/McCall type punch and beat the ****er. Again, with a bunch of friends, but they were all Lewis fans. I hate Lennox Lewis.
I actually don't remember the last time I was devastated. It's been a while. Most of my favorite fighters have good defense. Out of the unit I'd say Sergio is most likely to get a beatdown in the near future. But I think he's fighting only once or two more times. If he's careful he could win his remaining fights. Valero just now came to my mind. Funny thing is he never lost in the ring. But that's the painful irony - losing his life is much worse than losing to another boxer. I didn't care about his personal life; just wanted to see all those epic ring wars which could've/should've/would've happened.
Tyson losing to Lewis. Was so pumped up for months for that fight and stubbornly held out hope the Tyson of old would return even at his advanced age even though it was unlikely. Tyson losing to Danny Williams was even worst because you knew for sure he was done. McBride fight not so much because you knew he was already done. Holyfield losing to Ruiz in the 2nd fight, especially when he got knocked down by Ruiz in the 10th(?) round.
I hated seeing Quartey lose to Vargas. I knew he was better than Vargas, if only he hadn't had so many layoffs and still had symptoms of malaria. It sucks seeing someone really gifted not able to perform at their best.
OK mate, I recall my pal stood at the bus stop ashen faced and listless and i said whats the **** up with you, goes without saying that he like yer good self was a Sugar disciple! I thought the reason for his depressed look was that he'd found out I'd shafted his mum, but with a slow shake of his bowed head it dawned on me that it must have been something much more traumatic and being the twisted ****er I am I recounted the trouncing word for word I'd just read off of teletext about SRL getting decked twice and thrashed This pal of mine and another who was a Hearns fan both came around my gaff to watch the Duran/Hearns fight and revel in watching my own traumatic meltdown, obviously both the ****s new the result and pigged as much of my "past sell by date" rusty cans of skol lager as they could before I went nuclear when Roberto got flattened:| My depression was abyssal I'd only just got the electric back on after being cut off for 18 months due to being on the dole for 30 months. I was ticking the seconds off all saturday morning till 2.30pm when Dickie Davis on ITV put up the regular saturday afternoon boxing highlights from Vegas. This should cheer you up:smooch http://youtu.be/RvRFtbWyBHM How come you tube won't let you show copy the screen anymore?
Lopz losing to Salido the first time. I was watching that fight with my pops. My pops is from Spain, but grew up in Caguas along with JML. It was weird though cause after the first few rounds, my dad was rooting for Salido and he absolutely hates Mexicans. I couldn't watch the rest of that fight, didn't log on ESB for like 3 months after that. Also when Mosley lost to Mayweather.
