Kessler and Froch both have great chins I can't remember seeing Kessler hurt aside from a couple of Calzaghe shots, and the butts from Ward, the Alan Green KD could prove to be ominous though!

Froch wasn't hurt against Taylor it was more a balance thing and also the fact he didn't see the shot coming. You could see when he was being given the count that his head was clear and he was thinking straight and as soon as he got back to boxing he was ok. If you look at someone like Khan when he goes down he gets back up and goes toe to toe which is the worst thing you can do.

Yeah Dirrell really had him going I think, backed up right onto the ropes and had his hands straight up.

I haven't seen Froch hurt. Kessler, Dirrel and Taylor stunned him. Not only did all the shots have speed but Froch defence and balance often help the punch and yet he still doesn't get hurt.

To see Froch hurt and finished would shock me. He fights like he knows he is a tough son of a *****. Not a tenacious brawler but never scared to take a shot. If you rewatch Kessler Froch I, they both spend the whole fight in range and I can't remember a single clinch.

Kessler has been visible hurt against:

Sartison in the first round. Kessler head goes way back after being hit hard.

    Froch round 5

    Green first round.

But he has always had a great recovery. :smoke

Pascal had him in serious trouble, I forget which round but it was right at the end & just before the bell Carl looked ready to go.

Carl has a very good chin but he's not indestructible, I won't be surprised if Kessler hurts him again.

More than you think IMO. He just reacts very well to being hit, he doesn't panic and over react and has a good poker face. Plenty of times I've seen him get hit and wince, he's been down to. The thing is Carl has an underrated defence IMO. He uses range very well so he can always see the punches coming. However the older he gets the less and less he will be able to take and he will find it harder to see the punches. Nobody is invincible and everybody can be knocked out. All those punches he has been hit with take a bit of health of the health bar, that never comes back. If Froch ever over commits, I think thats when you'll most likely see him get KO'd, when the moment gets the better of him and he is forced to become reckless and chase a fight.

This next fight with Kessler is probably as good as chance as ever. But I don't think Froch will become reckless for this fight. It will be very similar to the first, both men landing and taking shots. Wouldn't be surprised if you see one if not both men down at some point in this fight.

Agreed. Froch's chin is as much mental as it is physical, though it's above average in both cases. His phenomenal conditioning also helps him to recover very quickly, which limits an opponent's chances to follow up.
