Alexander has gotten much better since there fight, in which I had Devon winning by a point. I think Devon avoids getting dropped, wins a decision, will look like the fight against Maidana

Yes. To me, Alexander looked extra aggressive in that fight throwing more punches, as if he was fighting a nobody in a showcase fight. He'd probably respect LM more in a rematch, stink out the joint if need be and collect his cheque.

Hell no. Matthyse has been totally a different fighter after the two robberies ( Judah and Alexander ). Watching that fight you could tell that he was ad******g to fighting outside argentina. He was less confident and wasn't imposing his will. He would brutalize alexander now.

If he comes at Lucas with that "new-found aggression," he'll get KO'ed simple. I'd favor this Matthysse to knock-out Alexander. The guy looks like a damn lion hunting his prey in the ring now.

No I meant he looked more aggressive against Matthysse (for Alexander standards) then let's say the Bailey fight where he was content to do just enough to win rounds and not get hit. That fight was kind of boring and I'm sure Alexander was ok with it, he seems to know how to fight against punchers now. He'll either lull you into a slow paced fight on the outside or smother your work like he did against Maidana.

But hey, Lucas knocking him the F out is very possible either way. I hope they do fight again. It will prove whether Lucas is fighting with a better game plan now like a lot of people say, or is it the competition?

Yeah, Alexander's timing and combinations in the pocket have gotten much better, while Mathysse is a more active stalker and is mixing in his body punches smarter.

I like Alexander, but from what I saw in his last fight I don't see any element that will trouble Matthysse. I don't see anyone winning against Matthysse standing in front of him.

What exactly did he do that made anyone see him beating Matthysse in a rematch? Being aggressive and attempting to land power shots damn sure would be right up Lucas' alley. Alexander was hit as well by that guy who was clearly outclassed. I don't see the defensive genius of say a James Toney or Broner that would allow Alexander to stand in the pocket and deliver power shots against a dangerous puncher like Lucas.

I see the fight playing out exactly the same, but this time with Lucas having been anointed so being more likely to get the nod. Alexander is stuck between a rock and a hard place.
