My take on it is that he spent along time with the media saying the same old spiel that we saw on the press conference which was respecful but went of on a tagent and said something silly he doesn't mean to a couple of press guys who jumped on it like a tramp on chips. If he acts odd at the weigh in I will start to worry about his chances in this fight.
Say something that some quilt might deem slightly racist or below that as we've seen with Di Canio and we have NATIONAL OUTRAGE! HEADS MUST ROLL! BAN THE SCUM FOR LIFE! FASCIST! RACIST! while on the other hand here we have a chap making sickening lustful claims that he wants to literally "kill a ****er" and it's seen as "good for business". Britain 2013.
Just watched the press conference in full and Froch said "I want him to be in his dressing room, hear the crowd, hear his opponent that's going to do him some serious damage. Hopefully not too much damage because i like the guy and i want him to walk away from this" Does that sound like someone who actually intends to kill his opponent?
He's just apologised on Twitter, doesn't always come across that well to some people but I like him. War cobra:bbb
froch : ".... I can get into the Arena, soak up the atmosphere from the biggest crowd either of us has performed in front of .." sky , froch and eddie all seem to be forgetting that calz v Kessler was not only a bigger fight than this but the crowd was over 50,000
Starting to think Froch really is not likeable... hope Kessler ****s him up, so arrogant... who has he beaten? A over-hyped Bute and Jermain Taylor when down on 2 of the 3 cards big woop...
There's something about Froch in the build up to this fight. He seems more agitated and aggressive than normal.
Laz is 100% right though. You can try and discredit him all you like. I'm no fan of Khan, but that is a true statement. Hold on Laz! You know they'll be coming at you pretty soon on here to attack in the group! Hold on!
Yes, he is edgier than usual, more emotional, more eager and more aggressive. All normal and good things as long as he doesn't peak too early. Don't want him to be flat emotionally on the night. See this good interview with McCracken. He touches on this. [yt]P9pcpU4D4tE[/yt]
