Have just bought a pair of tuff wear saftey spar gloves, they fit perfect around the hand, just i have skinny wrists and cant get a tight grip when fastend around the wrist. Is there anything i could put around the wrist compartment in the glove to make a tighter fit? like a strip of foam or something? Cheers Macco
have the same problem Macco but to be fair i've always just lived with it as hasn't been a problem in sparring. are your gloves lace ups? could always buy longer laces so you can wrap them around the wrist section a bit more? always a fine line between getting the right amount of 'wristlock' protection vs. having enough room to move the hands freely but the above + a decent handwrap technique should offer enough support / protection
Mine are velcro, im hoping after a while itll be easy to fasten the velcro tigther after beeing loosend up bit. Maybe im just worrying about nothing tbh
