How is Kessler more shopworn than Froch?

Hey Kessler faced Green and KO'ed the sh.. out of him in round 4.
Ward went all 12 boring clinch rounds with Green.

Froch battled Megee 11 rounds before he won.
Kessler used less then 7 minutes to finish him.

    Still great results!

its boxing and fighters get hit but you do realize what happened in the first round of the green fight, right? yes he did pull himself up and ended green with a beauty of a left but still...he gets in trouble like that against froch and its over.

i'm a huge kessler fan but he's off his peak and there's no shame in that. it happens.

Why do you think so? - Kessler most of all went down because he was off balance when hit, he was up on the count of 1 and there was zero shaky legs afterwards. If anything it shows he deals pretty well with a good punch.

Green is probably the hardest puncher Kessler has fought TBH

All of this past prime stuff reminds me of how everyone talked about Evander Holyfield before his first fight with Tyson. I think Froch wins it, maybe even by late stoppage, but Kessler's not going down without a hell of a fight.

Kessler have also had a lot of back and hand injuries early in his career. (e.g. 4 double herniated). Kessler is more fragile.

Froch is 1½ year older than Kessler, but Kessler has been a professional 5 more years than Froch.

It is possible that Froch can walk through Kessler's punches and finish him off, the same way as Bute was stopped. Kessler, however, is still a very good counter puncher - so Froch has to be careful. :bbb

Definately not, the last fight already showed that, I think it was the end of the 4th where a short right hand counter from Kessler had Froch's legs wobbly.
The last thing a fighter loses is his punching power.
