no cause hes threatend to retire if he looses Kessler would win Arthur is just to small and his style isnt isnt effective against someone who can box a bit
Can't see Kessler retiring. Would do big numbers in Germany or Denmark and they're both Sauerland fighters.
People always cite the reason for AA's rapid demise as the jump from 160 to 168. Personally, i think the big jump up in terms of opposition had more to do with it.
He didn't put on any weight when he moved to 168, he's entered the ring at 175 for quite a few years now. He did so when he was a Middleweight and continued to do so up untill the Froch fight at least (i'm unaware of what he's weighed on fight night since then). The move up to 168 just meant that he didn't have to drain himself (as much) to make weight because he was a corpse at 160 towards the end by all accounts. I agree though, fighting taller guys with longer arms was always going to be a problem for him stylistically. The step up in class cerainly didn't help either. I actually picked Dirrell to school him before their fight and lost money betting on Dirrell points thanks to the DQ!
Kessler will most likely retire if he losses. Abraham is looking towards a rubbermatch with Stieglitz.
