Point taken.. I think even Cormiers knockout was kind of special. He looks incredible, then ordinary.. He basically blasted bigfoot with an H bomb, looked clean, well timed and set up as well as Hendo does it. Don't think Cain has anything quite like that.. It takes something special to floor Bigfoot. :yep I fully expect it to go beyond 3.
Good pints Koa. I think Dans hands are much better than Cains. His stocky physique and nearly imposable chance of getting taken down really help him. Think Fedors reaction time... Everyone else are going to have a hard time with Antonio imo, even tough the are favored to win. Dan is compact, quick and powerful, Cain is endurance based...
Ive read Bogfoot is having his daughters ring side. He wants to hope he doesnt get ****ing murdered by cain...
He has a great chance. Weight advantage. Good BJJ. Longer arms and legs. Power puncher. Knows what he did wrong last time. He has been written off so many times in the past and has still won. Don't count him out. Lynchburg
Nah, that's because Bigfoot is a real mofo. (at least thats what I think, maybe I can convince you otherwise) When fighters bring fam to fights, it's in part to treat them to something special. I'm sure on some levels it has to do with ego, but also it's a hugely significant part of Bigfoots life. We might sit here and believe he has no chance, but really he has a fair chance, he's grown on me because a guy like him had to take a lot of abuse growing up, but with him there is no end in dedication or perseverance. I'm a big Overeem fan. But watching how Overeem talked about Bigfoot up to he fight actually had me cheering for Bigfoot when he turned it around in the 3rd. It was one of those moments, if you were ever picked on in your life that you saw someone stand up and get his own justice. :thumbsup For someone like me it was a very poetic thing to see. Many martial artists who get to watch a pupil or peer overcome a bully get a lot of satisfaction out of it. It's one of the purest forms of justice we get to see in life. Bigfoot was also gracious to Overeem after the fight, shows a lot about his character. But, also watching someone at a disadvantage, watching someone's will, and grit overcome an opponents very real superior speed, technique and strength advantage. Sort of **** movies are made of, if Bigfoot were handsome we would all love the **** out of him. Maybe somebody sympathetic would make a movie like they did for Hammil. He's a great character. We are lucky to have him in the sport. I think he's bringing his daughters out of pride and confidence. He doesn't strike me as a man who feeds on bull****/ fake confidence or feels he needs to convince others of his abilities. I think this is kind of an easy thing to see in him considering all the things he must have had to deal with in life and where he is now.
