I have no source handy but when VADA started up this was one of their main arguments. They are financed by donations and sponsors to a large degree and can cut prices. I think they used to charge about one tenth of the USADA price but seem to recall that USADA halved their price, or thereabouts. Don't take my word for it though, it's from memory. And of course the price depends on the service. But testing through a fair sized training camp was just short of 10.000 if I recall correctly.
im trying to get to the bottom of why golden boy turn down drug testing when lopez manager request it
Who cares about testing. They don't actually improve a fighter, steroids or not the better fighter will win the fight.
It's been made clear in the past that Golden Boy don't want to work with VADA, it was to do with them releasing information about Berto that got the fight cancelled when it could have gone ahead.
since when does a promoter have a say in whether fighters get tested or not? That's up to the commission and GBP has juice but not that kind. you're trolling.
