I think GGG's KO power is slightly overrated.... I hope he proves those words wrong but I think he has more of the bust you up, break you down type power then true concussive knock out type.

As for Froch, no, I don't think GGG would stop Froch once if they fought 5 times.

  4. Thank you, I get sick of lecturing and educating all the GGG doubters on my own

if Froch would stay there and only defend himself then yes probably 3G would T/K.O him but in a real boxing match @ 168, Froch stops 3G in the lately rounds or he'd do what he did to Abraham for 12 rounds.

Ouma's as stubborn as a mule so there's no shame in that.

Have you seen Gennady Golovkin vs Lajuan Simon. The guy who went 12 rounds with Abraham was KOed by one punch only after 2 minutes in the first round.

Theres many examples of this in boxing, where one guy goes the distance with one huge puncher, gets wrecked by another.

Its an awesome footnote, but doesn't change the fact I think GGG doesn't come close to stopping Froch in a fight.

I see Froch beating GGG. The experience factor. He has fought everyone.

Frochs jab is way to much for Golovkin to fight thru. He'd be constantly resetting after being stabbed with it.

There's no bigger Golovkin fan here at ESB, but I just can't see Golovkin getting pass that jab. It's long, it's sharp and it's quick. When he drives it home, it's potent.

Golovkin could definitely come over it when he's just poking it out there, but it would have to be a very deliberate counter. And Froch mixes his punches up pretty well even throwing the UC from a distance as an anticipation or retaliatory shot.
When GGG get over that jab, he's gonna have to make every shot count, and Carl takes a shot so well that GGG would have to really jump straight away on him and catch with a multi shot combo.
I dont know if Golovkin could do that considering Froch is so retaliatory a fighter. If you catch him good, he bites down and come right at ya trying to kill ya with tight shots.
Macklin is gonna be a good fight because he displays some of those characteristic of Froch. BUT......tough as Mack is, he aint got a "walk thru a bomb" chin like Froch, and Golovkin is by far the hardest puncher Mack has faced.
Golovkin might be a more stern test on Froch chin, but unless he got old overnight, or lost hunger, Froch is one of only maybe 4 fighters from 154-175 that would beat Golovkin.:deal

GGG wouldve stopped this Kessler inside 3 rds tonight. Not saying Carl has less power than GGG.......just saying.

In most ppls opinion, GGG would KO several of the top 10 SMWs. :deal

There is a possibility. Carl looked very slow tonight. Golovkin has great accuracy and good power.
