This is why Roy Jones Jr's career will always be suspect. The lack of big punchers.

He literally avoided the Froch of the 90's (Eubank), the Lucas of the 90's (Jackson) the Kessler of the 90's (Benn) .. all these fighters who could have put his lights out.. he did not fight.

Please don't compare Carl Froch and Kessler to Jones Jr. Roy in his prime toys with them both and makes them look like B level fighters.

You do realise that Eubank openly admitted that he never wanted to fight Jones in his prime right?

Also Jones fought John Ruiz, who im pretty sure hit harder than any SMW.

Eubank was perfectly happy milking his WBO Title for all it was worth and made no attempt to fight Jones, and Benn was content not to fight Jones because he knew it was a bad style match up for him - he'd have taken the fight if it had been arranged but he didn't try to make it himself, to my knowledge at least - I dont know about Jackson.

Also, remember Jones fought a Prime James Toney so its not like he never fought a a great boxer and power-puncher.

True. There is a lack of big punchers on his resume. Not to sure about your comparisons though
