Everyone is worried about Jeffs health, what about Mirovics?

He has had some of the hardest fights in ther last 2 years. Shane Cameron, Francis Botha, and no one is worried about Bobs age or health.

Lets be honest age doesnt have anything to do with boxing. If youve got it you'll always have it.

Not true at all, heavy weights can fight at a higher age as power is one thing that is the last thing to go, where as lighter weights like fenech etc relied on speed/reflexes and stamina, look at the work rate the lighter fighters use compared to heavy weights which usually turns into a hug fest after 6 rounds.
The comment that you'll always have it, well i am guessing you haven't seen a prime Roy Jones compared to his movement now.

Quick question to all the readers (Lefty no need to hear your comment).

How long can a heavy weight last? 30's, 40's?

It's variable. Many things come into consideration, but I'd say heavies should still be going ok in their early 40's. Not producing their best, but still giving a good account of themselves.

how old was Lewis when he retired?

No idea. Never really liked Lewis as a fighter but yet he goes down as one of the best of all time.

The reason I ask is that I watched a video high light of Riddick Bow and Evander Holyfield and I think it was one of the best fights Ive seen in years. And Evander is still capable of winning a hevy weight title today.

    How old is Evander?

Big Bob is getting on and still loves it. It's his body and brain after all. It can depend on the style of figher as well imo. A real brawler prolly takes a lot of shots and if durable can do a lot of rounds, hence more wear and tear. A good defensive figher or counter puncher can possibly add a couple of years onto their careers, depending on how active they are. A lot can depend on how a fighters body holds up as this is an individual thing. The rigorous of just hard consistent training can take it's toll, add boxing wars to this and you take a lot out of a person.

Let me guess, you're 15 years old and you just discovered boxing?
