Kessler is a very great ambassador for boxing.

Take a rematch and beat Froch again.
I know he can do it.

he started way too slow. he had trouble figuring out how to get past frochs jab, which he apparently did not expect. once he did he landed blows that would KO ANY OTHER SMW including Ward. Was Froch roided up in this one. He took massive punishment and fought on. I gained more respect for Froch, but he will not beat Ward.

I don't see any reason why he should retire. The fight was very competitive and I am sure there is huge demand for a 3rd and final fight against Froch.

Kessler is still the 3rd best super middle in the world and it's not impossible for Kessler to win the 3rd fight with Froch. Kessler showed last night he is still a force and maybe a move up to light heavyweight will bring further success.

No. He said that he needed to think about it. This is a bit of a change though, because before the fight he said he would retire if he lost.

As a dane, I hope Kessler retires. Yes, he fought bravely and admirably. In terms of mindset and willpower he is stronger now than he f.ex. was when he fought Calazaghe.

But physically he is a completely different fighter than the one figting around 20006-2007. His trademark jabs are no longer as crisp, he is slower both on hand and feets, his defence is leaky and he gets hit a lot.

The war with Froch yesterday just adds to that. So I really hope that he retires

He should fight at least one more time and go out on a win.
