Wish people would stop giving Floyd so much credit for his business acumen. The man is thick as pig ****, granted he's a master in the ring, but he'll be skint in 15 years when Al Hayman is no longer his 'advisor'.

It actually might work out better for boxing fans if it does wind up under 1 million. That could mean either May/Canelo next or maybe a Mayweather/Khan-Alexander-Garcia with a co-main of Canelo/Cotto or something big like that.

Mayweather gets paid if he sells 1 PPV or 1 Billion. The numbers don't even matter.

The numbers do matter, you think Showtime is going to continue to lose money on fights?
if you really think the numbers do not matter something is wrong with your head, that 32 million he gets, I am more than confident that Showtimes agreement with Floyd has allot to do with PPV #s

Showtime is not going to go in debt behind any single fighter, so if those numbers dont start adding up you can bet your ass they will re negotiate their contract with Floyd and likely have a clause in that contract that permits them to do so.

It tells you the level of people you are dealing with that they think Show guaranteed Floyd $200+mil with no out/strings/etc....

The context in which people like you that are having pissing matches on here with everyone over the numbers do not matter. That is what I meant. Doesn't matter if he sells 1 or 1 Trillion. Sorry.

Exactly they just seem to think that Floyd is going to make his money no matter what the numbers turn out to be and that is not the truth there is no way any company is going to keep losing money just to have keep one product, usually if a product doesnt do well in the market they either drop the price or drop the product all together.

We have been telling you fan boys that numbers dont matter for years, you guys are the ones who insisted the numbers mean everything you guys are the ones who brag about Floyd can do a million fighting anybody, you guys have said well his PPV #s are **** when he has a successful PPV then he can get a shot, Today you want us to forget those statements? **** no we are not going to pretend like you didnt say what you said, we are holding you accountable here.....

They will never release the official numbers. The main reason is that if the numbers are low, then in future negotiations it will be used as leverage against Mayweather, and the rest of the Panocha team.

    GBP does not want this

    Showtime does not want this.

Panocha Team does not want this

    So it will not happen

We will get a convoluted BS response

I don't care for Dan, but all because he got a date wrong by 2 years? It could have been a typo. Jesus man, if that's your reason to think he's wrong about the PPV buys then you are just lying to yourself.

Also, *****s make me LOL. Trying to say this was a good PPV tally. It ain't good if Showtime loses money on it. LOL.
