That was some Nigel Benn type disgraceful ****. All through the fight when they were in a clinch he would blast Kessler on the back of the head and the ref wasn't doing ****. You could tell Kessler was getting frustrated with it towards the middle and last third of the fight. That genuinely pissed me off, Kessler should have thrown some blatant Golota low blows to put an end to it.
well the ref was DEFINITELY in Frochs corner. 99% of the warnings were against kessler. and the a$$ almost tried to stop it in the 12th.
Well at least Froch didn`t headbutt Kessler to victory!! Ward nearly retired Kessler from the headbutts!! You go on about rabbit punching Nigel Benn,he was no more guilty of that than most others.I remember James Toney slamming a disgraceful big right hand punch on the back of Nunns head and including alltime winger Steve Cunnighams rabbit shots on Fury.Froch does rabbit punch a lot though.
Agree, lots of rabbit punching and not even a warning. Frochs ref in there. Defintely a hometown judge. Important to remember that if they want ward to the UK.
Yeah it bothered me a little too. - But those weren't serious punches. It was more like Froch was lightly tapping Kessler, sort of to get his attention. - or to say "stop clinching." Compare it to what Mathysse was doing to Peterson. THOSE were hard punches, and very dangerous. (and inexcusable.)
Well headbutts or no headbutts ward dominated that fight from the word go. Kessler looked like **** and would of lost even without the headbutts.
What ****in rabbit punches? There were no more rabbits than there were by Kessler, either boxers in the fight before that one, the one before that and any fight thats happened anywhere recently in the world. Your seeing things cuz you want to. No way was rabbit punches an issue last night.
are you ****ing sure? What about the two blatant low blows from kessler? they gave as good as they got as froch hit kessler low in the 12th **** off and give him his props you hating ****
I do agree that froch threw rabbit punches when in the clinch... But it was Kessler who was initiating the clinch everytime. It really depends how you look at it, and you clearly look at it with a bias against froch.
I was paying close attention to the fight and never noticed anything crazy from Froch in terms of dirty tactics. I don't think the ref was about to step in either, I think Froch hit Kessler with a low blow and the ref tried to jump in to warn him but then they swinging like crazy so he thought better of it.
