Having small hands means they break sooner when punching. It doesn't affect power at all, Naseem Hamed also had baby hands. Hamed did have to put a lot of numbing stuff (forgot name) so he could keep punching, otherwise he would be in too much pain. Mayweather if I'm right uses the same thing. Oscar de la Hoya also had rather small hands though I don't know if he had hand trouble.
