Anyone slightly annoyed at all the celebs loving Froch

I am buzzing he's finally getting the respect he deserves. For some reason, a load of people on here have questioned him, his record and even his freaking chin, but he finally seems to be getting the respect he deserves among casuals.

Anyone know if the celebs get there ringside seats free or actually pay for them? I've always assumed the promoters like having big name celebs there

 

Carl Froch has always had respect off the people that matter, he is very insercure and bitter if..? he cares about all the celeb's wanking over him. David Haye users the mug celebs as a marketing tool, and i don't think he really cares what they think. Its still all about the boxing fans, that's the ultimate respect! Its what pisses Floyd Mayweather off when BOXING fans question him or don't give him respect.

Somebody like Ricky Hatton cared too much about casual fans.

Annoyed? Not particularly. He deserves the exposure now. What is quite cringeworthy is when they come into the dressing room before the fight and wish them luck when they don't know them personally. This is showbiz people, when times are good everybody is flocking, when times are bad people scuttle like rats. They want to be seen with and associated with the current hot thing on the block. As soon as the heat dies down they move onto the next piece of 'in thing'.
Celebrities will be on Froch's nuts now claiming they have been a fan for 10 years lol.

 

what celebs were there? I only remember them showing Rooney on the screen (who then got boo'ed). Have seen a funny pic with Peter Schmeichel Wayne Rooney and Kalle and Lee Evans is photo bombing it!

I havent got a problem with the celebs who are actually into boxing going (like Max out of eastenders he was there wasnt he but he's been at shws before) its the ones who are there just to get their face seen (especially if they haven't paid)

Saying that though that also applies to non celebs the Froch bandwagon is well and truly getting jumped on now isnt it.

I went to Froch v Pascal with 3 other people
Froch v Dirrell 4 others (and knew one other not sitting with us)
Froch v Bute 1 other (and actually had a spare ticket i had to let go to someone on here for less than face value)
Froch v Mack 1 other (and knew of 1 other not sitting with us)

but saturday i knew 16 other people in that arena (none of which were the ones i went to the Pascal fight with), most of which i wouldnt class as boxing fans. And from the looking back on my twitter/facebook from Saturday night it'll only get worse.

 

To be fair, Its not like years back when you used to see real A-Listers at the Naseem fights.

Fair play to you you have been about a bit. I have only been to 4 Froch fights. Barney, Adamu, Reid and Dodson.
