Sergio is prob too small, and potentially past it whilst hopkins/ward fights wld not be entertaining at all
**** the Ward or Hopkins fight who wants to see them. We know what Frochs level is give him some exciting money fights in the UK then let him retire. The man is 38 made his money no point hanging around to get beaten up.
Would love to see him fight Chavez Jnr in Vegas. Even though Froch has fought in the States, he hasn't had a huge amount of attention, publicity or hype and fighting Chavez in somewhere like the MGM would give him that and probably the biggest payday of his career which he'll deserve. Sadly don't see Arum being interested in it. Froch would murder Chavez.
I'd retire. He has his health in tact, his bank balance is bulging, he has a family and also has a healthy property empire. He just won the second biggest fight of his career at the biggest sized crowd that he has ever boxed for, all at home as well. Go out on top as a multiple champ, I say!
you're right don't know where I got that from. Still hes getting on especially for someone with his style. Don't know why anyone wants to see him fight hopkins, holds no interest to me whatsoever would be the ugliest fight.
Stieglitz for me. Not a fight for the purists perhaps but there will be insane action! Both guys defensively lacking but with stellar chins and all action styles. Make it happen Eddie and Ward can sit ringside again!
I'd love to see a rematch with Pascal. The weight could be an issue but it'd be a great fight for the fans, especially if Pascal beats Bute in good fashion. Of all the big fights out there, the one I'm least interested in is a Ward rematch.
I'd like to see Groves-Stieglitz in September. Froch Vs anyone at 168 really (Bika-Periban winner would work), other than Ward, that Oosthoozen or whatever his name is, or Froch Vs Stieglitz and Groves Vs the South African lad. Not interested in Kessler III, though it would undoubtedly be fun I reckon Froch would win easier next time, that will likely have taken the last of Kessler's best form away from him, it was a f'n war. Then Froch-Groves next March-May at Wembley with Macklin-Barker and Quigg-Frampton on the undercard or summat That'd be great.
I would like to see Martin Murray step up a division and fight Froch, I think it will be a decent scrap.
If Kessler is up for it then do number 3 in a neutral venue. Got the feeling last night might have taken a lot out of him though; wouldn't want to see him fight again and get badly hurt.
When Stevenson was his mandatory, said Id rather see that than the Kessler return, though Froch will have got a lot of satisfaction out of that one.Still would like to see it if he beats Dawson, but its been pointed out that theres a few obstacles, weight being one and getting into the country another.Oosthuisen is one that looks good to me,looks a really tough opponent.Dont think Kessler wants another, not one Id like anyway.Think Froch wants Ward, and a lot of money could tempt him.In which case,a points loss and retirement.
