If a thread is more than two years old you can no longer change the name :verysad

If you look at the first post the name is changed.

I've told admin about it already but we've not even got avatars so don't expect much...

Go **** yourself... How does that even make sense? He nearly went 3 rounds against the second best HW in the World yet he sucks? Okay...

Hunt clipped JDS a couple of times in the fight and even the greatest of chins can only take so much

Hunt looked surprisingly good. He nearly knocked JDS out when his right violent swing just missed his chin. Let’s face it, Hunt is 39 years old and most fighters have retired at that age.

That raises the question what Hunt could have done if he was still young and in the shape he was back in 2001 as he was even able to go 3 with JDS at 39.

Anyways, at 39, this is the end of the road for Hunt. He had a good run.
His highlight is still when he captured the 2001 K-1 GP.

He's just a little too slow now. Some of his punches missed by a hair, and JDS wasn't exactly trying to brawl with him.

Props to JDS for fighting him intelligently, you can tell he got his groove back by the 3rd round when he started really using his reach.. He moved laterally very well and managed to stay just away from Hunt even if he backed up straight sometimes and didn't protect his chin.. Unless he cleans that up, just a matter of time before someone catches him.

Listen, you can be a fan and still be realistic. I'll be rooting for Hunt until the day he dies. But he's not getting that title. That's life. Same for Wandy for example. I'll cheer him on forever. But he's not getting the title.

That said, I was very proud of his last fight. He stuck in there. And THAT said, I did almost cry when he got KO'd. I don't think I've ever seen him get KO'd cold like that. It's weird. It's like, if he got KO'd by a punch, I don't think I'd feel so bad. But it hurts that he's part of someone's highlight reel.

If you watch the fight again you see him snap his toe in the first on JDS's knee... Looked nasty. Just after he got knocked down.
