The plan is for him to headline in September. If he fights in July it'll be an eight rounder.

but there was some sort of progression in the fights he did have instead of knocking over stiffs

and he pulled out of atleast 2 fights with injury which ate up 6 months of that

  4. to be fair to wazza groves pulled a haye before a few fights as well by pulling out with injuries

but fair play to eddie to keep him busy , but he can only feast on bums for so long

There was also two 4 months periods where Groves was fit and ready to right.

Good point. Groves thrives on keeping busy clearly. I'd get this fight out of the way and then put him in with Stieglitz in September. Can't see him going back to Frank anytime soon for the obvious reasons.

Fought a LOT more than under Frank. :patsch

The quality of his opponents aren't great, but he is setting himself up for a big fight.

that guy in use sierra believe it was i thought was actually decent test for him and gave him good golden boy exposure.he had been in with oostheinsen and i believe george took him out quicker than he did.

would like to see george tested before gets world title shot though.

  13. Sierra a gatekeeper type gave groves problems
Smith was a good fight for groves
As was Johnson but he turned up in punching bag mode

These were good fights delivered for George as well as the postponed Stieglitz fight which was probably too early

    Frank did ok by groves

    As for next
    I would like degale rematch

If they are going ppv how about
    Haye pulev eliminator
    Groves degale eliminator
Frampton Romero? If that was the guy who won the belt

I wouldn't quibble over 15 quid for that

I'd like to see him go up against Sakio Bika.

A tough, awkward opponent who will put up a good fight and will drag Groves out for a 12 rounder yet is beatable.

Would be a good test to see if Groves is ready to step up. Has Bika got a fight lined up?

As far I know Bika is fighting for the vacant WBC title.
And no Bika would be too early for Groves the most underrated fighter out there. He gave Ward his hardest fight and is a very strong fighter especially on the inside. He also fights a bit dirty at times so I dont know if groves can deal with that. Also Bika would not be impressed with Groves power because he is a pretty hard men.
