Froch vs Chavez jr?

    Who do you have between Froch and Chavez jr. if they fight? I would say Froch would only be a slight favorite. I think that Chavez jr would actually be the bigger fighter of the two. Jr would probably come the the ring in the high 180's and Froch maybe high 170's. Personally I don't think Jr. could ever make 160 again.

    I think Chavez would go into his shell in this one when he couldn't hurt Froch.

    Would be a great gift though, HBO should invest in this one.

    chavez loses his one and only advantage- size

    i'm pretty sure he must count that among his myriad of skills which also include being able to get hit a lot and take it and having a good hook to the body and....well thats it.

    Froch rips him to shreds and embarrasses him, as does nearly anybody good at 168

    Froch is bigger tougher smarter and a better boxer than Chavez jnr.

    I agree, but then again Froch does have a shitty defense that will give Chavez opportunities especially with his left hook.

    Considering he already weights 180ish now (fight night) you let him have another 8lbs he could quite easily weight as much as that.

    Actually this would be a good fight. I would probably slightly favor Froch, but not by much. I think a victory would be totally in either man's grasp and the would produce a lot of fireworks. I think we would end up seeing both men hurt. I say make the fight happen.
