Carl Froch is full of ****. He knows he can't beat Ward.

i think everyone knows ward would beat froch again, but ward couldnt drew flies to ****, froch is the money man in that division, ward needs froch ALOT more than froch needs ward, so froch can call the shots.
he fought in america last time, so why not fight in britain this time. ward beating froch on his home turf would be a nice win for him. for for some reason his fans have a stick up there ass about something. prob cos no one out of hard core boxing fans know who the **** andre ward is!!

 

fair enough, but if they have nautral judges maybe. im a froch fan, but also a kessler fan, and the score cards saturday night were alot wider than they should have been, even though froch done enough to win a clear decision, it makes the judging look pathetic.

Sounds to me like all the die hard ward fans are scared and already making pre excuses for either not fighting at all or for losing the fight if it happens. I just dont understand why so many people here dont become judges themselfs because they obviously far better at it than the real ones who get it wrong so often.
Maybe just maybe the reality is that YOU the internet judge is getting it wrong? and maybe it could be down to erm BIAS?. Surely not tho because after all there is this large conspirecy against america that means whenever you fight abroad you will be robbed, apart from the times your not robbed, and then ofc its just down to the judge not being bribed enough.
At the moment no matter how much people argue Andre Ward is the best skilled at 168, and on same note Carl Froch is the most popular and globally succesfull. Carl Froch can spend the rest of his career in this fashion and retired loved by millions, a very rich man and knowing he was 2nd only to a top P4P fighter, Ward on the other hand CANNOT stay as he is because he will just become another Calzaghe who is supremly skilled but forever remebered for never travelling when it mattered and only loved by a hardcore fan base.
Reality is if Ward wants to be remebered as a Legend and talked about in many years to come he needs to avoid the trap calzaghe fell into an go and silence the critics. Calzaghe fans said the exact same as the Ward fans, why should he travel hes the champ ect ect ect and now look at his legacy.

 

He's not second best because he was beaten by Dirrell. He was lucky to get the knockout against Taylor otherwise he was in trouble. Froch is only good against come forward non thinking fighters who have zero boxing skills.

 

If I was Froch I wouldn't fight Ward just yet, Ward needs a couple of decent wins to help build his name and earn the shot. Maybe he could fight on a Froch undercard for the much needed exposure. Plus the fight would have to be in the UK, with the purse about 60:40 in Carl's favour seeing as Ward brings nothing to the table. If it makes dollars it makes sense. All roads lead to Carl.

Are the British fans really that desperate for a hero? Denouncing the guy who beat Carl Froch rather easily with a broken hand? Saying he's better because he is more popular and more exciting? C'mon guys.

Yeah. I mean Carl is playing to the emotions of fans. Everyone knows Ward is superior but some like to be in denial about it.

No one thinks Froch is better than Ward.
However, it is undeniable that he is more exciting which in turn makes him more popular.

If they did fight again it would probably be another clear but boring decision win for ward whichever country it is in. Ward does not strike me as the kind of guy who will be affected by a hostile crowd.

 

Froch knows he can't beat Ward. He is hopeful, but realistic. After the Bute win he was asked about fighting Ward again. He said Ward is a tricky kind of fighter. Translation: I can't beat that ****ing guy.

 

So what's the OP expecting Froch to say?

'I know I've no chance folks, Ward's just better than me, you might as well not even bother to watch'. Even if Froch didn't believe he could win (and he's one of the few who do) -he's not gonna just say so is he?

The truth is there'll be a better gate in the UK, Froch might be able to negotiate better terms and, yeah, of course he could use the the home advantage.atsch
