I'm watching the Bejenaru Constantin - Maxim Pediura fight right now, and at the start, the commentator says that Bej went 140-10 as an amateur!

I don't have a strong opinion on him yet, but it's sure nice to see a HW using that "get inside with squared shoulders" method, even if he doesn't have Tyson's lightning-quick peekaboo thing going on.

He really did remind me of Tyson more than anyone I've seen in a long time. He has a long way to go, but if he got some good training, and worked on his endurance, he could possibly be a contender.

Constantin Bejenaru even trains in the Catskills like Iron Mike used to do.

He has only 4 fights so I think he could have a future he seems to have power. But his style is nothing like Tyson he doesn't fight from a peek a boo stance and is a southpaw there's a HUGE difference he fights like a sloppier version of Mike Perez but since he has only 4 fights I'm sure he will get better. But I haven't seen this fight

Yes, 5'11, but still, he cannot be competitive.
Too much reach, height and weight disadvantage.
I respect him, he can be a wonderful cruiserweight, there is no shame in that.

Waaaaaaaaayyyyyy too early to be hyping this kid. He is relatively young though and does have SOME upside.

He's got good power, excellent handspeed, but he does get overanxious when committing to shots.

He needs to move swifty though as the HW landscape is getting thick and wasting time fighting the likes of Excel Holmes isnt gonna help him progress.

He should look to recover quickly from this latest cut and get right back into the ring vs a name journeyman. Owen Beck would be an excellent test. Danny Williams would also be a decent test.

If he gets the likely TKO in 2-3, as he should, maybe he moves up to a Ding or a Gavern. If he beats a guy on that level, send him in with Airrich or Bydenko. Hell, maybe even Bahtov or McCline.

Chances are his speed and aggressiveness could see him winning 3 fights on that level in that order, throwing in another club can between each journeyman step up, and He could be on a Glaskov, Mago, Szpilka, Wilder level inside 12 months.

He just really needs to stay active.

Also.....he has been fighting at 217 and he looks like he could easily make 200. The CW division may not be the most lucrative division, but with several top sellers fighting there, it's getting better all the time.

A guy with his handspeed and power could go far at CW, especially against guys he wouldnt be jumping up to so he can hit them:yep

I finally found this guy, watched him fighting on European prizefighter thing and he really did look the goods, apart from a flash KD in the first round, he was facing some tall german guy

But those "he's too small" comments are ignorant if i say Tyson everyone will say "but it#s Tyson" but what's with Tua, Mercer wasn't very tall, Chagaev is 5'11'' Chambers is probably only 5'11-6', Boytsov is like 6'-6'1'', Bert Cooper and I don't even need to name legends like Marciano and Frazier. Hell even James Toney was only like 10 years ago a decent HW and he is 5'10'' and a former MW.
I'm not hyping this guy because he has only 4 fights and I haven't even seen all of his fights but saying that he's too small even though he has only 4 fights is young has enough power and has no problems putting away at least some cabdrivers is ignorant
