My point stands. Ward already thoroughly outclassed Froch, and it was far from Oakland (as the poster I replied to was insinuating).

    i agree completely...

to be a sport, he outta fight in the UK... not sure why the brits think the outcome would be different though. They saw the previous performance. Ward all of a sudden become lesser of a boxer in a different country?

according to the brittards, its brilliant reasoning! Anytime a brit loses to an american, they expect a rematch on their little island, or the fighter is scared of the brit he just beat. So in their mind, their fighter still won lol. At least they've been pretty consistent with this train of thought...

you understand what you're hinting at right? Though that is a fact, are you trying to imply that is THE DECIDING factor of all the fights? If you are going to ride this fact, then you must say that Jermain Taylor would have won the S6 tournament if he had fought at his home state in every fight. Would that carry to be true? Because you're implying that...

for someone who fought all his fights at home while everyone traveled in an international competition, he owes the boxing world that. he was a nobody at the start, but was given the opportunity by the bigger and more proven names.

plus, when he fights at home, he fights dirty. he wouldn't be allowed to get away with that outside of America. this is the main reason for me.

Froch, Kessler and Groves would crash the 168 version of Dawson in the first round. it wouldn't take them anywhere near as long as Ward did. one punch on that glass jaw and it's over and goodnight. :deal

and it wouldn't mean a god damn thing.

:huh how many times do we ask for rematches at home? you talk like it happens all the time.

99% of the time we have to go over to America because you guys are cowards. it's that simple.

the reason i want it in the UK is down to Ward having to fight clean. he fights dirty in the USA.

    Yes he should.

Haven't read 1 good reason in this thread why he shouldn't come to the UK.

Ward is willing to come to the UK and has asked Froch's promoter to pick up the phone if they are serious. Froch is daft enough to want it but it's actually clear that for all of Saturday's entertainment he is starting to decline as a fighter. Ward will givev?Froch a worse beating anywhere they have a rematch including Nottingham. You notice Eddie Hearn is not at all keen on a rematch! Why would he be when there is no route to victory.

Should be held in the UK, I guess Americans do not get the concept of home advatage seeing that they hold the world series and are the only ones invited.

Can you imangine Man U only playing home games in the champions league , or in the EPL?

Ward should beat Froch again regardless of venue.

So why is he so apprehensive to face Froch in the birthplace of Boxing?

If you say "Brittard" or "Buthurt" you should be embarrased.
