Would £5,000,000 be enough to coax Calzaghe out of retirement?

Would prob have to be on Joes terms hence could it sell the Millenium out??

 

It would have had to been @ 175lbs if they had fought two years ago , there was a reason why Joe moved up and if Carl thought he could follow Joe up and win a title @175lbs he would have done it by now , I like both Joe and Carl Froch ( unheard of i know ) but Eddie would be just buying Joes 0 for Carl as @ 168lbs it wouldn't even be a close fight here in 2013 Carl wipes the floor with a weight drained 42 years Joe Calzaghe @168 .

 

Hatton was an utter fool in his choice of comeback opponent IMO

 

i thought it was great choice.backed sencheko to win fight and also to win by knockout.

This aside if non puncher did this to hatton don't see any other fighter with a shred of credibility hatton could have fought and had a different result.

 

He didn't have the confidence to take on the best when he was active, no way he comes out of retirement.

He was so shook after the B-Hop decision he decided to pick on shot RJJ, even gave him 50/50 than take on the young undefeated lions Dawson and Pavlik who both called him out.

 

Whatever, this fight would have to be fair. I say, let them glove up one hand, a cosh in the other, armed with some nasty quips about eachother's mother, and snorts of cocaine between rounds. This I'd pay to see.

Joe Calzaghe fought actual super middle weights and 6 former world champions on the bounce! that's more impressive than Froch's run of fights.

Taylor, Abraham did nothing at 168.

Dirrell..? is ****.

He was beaten by Kessler first time around.

And has just beaten a weakened Kessler in my opinion.

Joe Calzaghe's record is by far better than Froch's.

Calzaghe still has better wins.

Eubank, Hopkins, Prime Kessler are better than any of Froch's wins.

Froch has gotten credit for losing during his career.

No amount of money would make him do it he was on the slide against b hop and rjj and got put down against both, he doesnt need the money and wouldn't risk his unbeaten record anyway.

 

Calzaghe should stay retired.

5 years away from the ring, he earned a lot of £££ in his time why come back now?

Like I said, 5 years out + not keeping in shape.. for a fighter who basically succeeded because of his work rate, high tempo & speed, coming back now is a bad idea.

 

Put yourself in Joe's shoes for a second if you where offered £5m to fight Froch.

£5m !!! is a win win situation for Joe ...

He gets beat and he has a ready made excuse and nobody would be surprised.

He wins !! .. and nobody will ever question his record again and he cements his legacy and ruins Froch's in the process.

I would be more concerned if i was Froch in this situation ... he has very little to gain and a awful lot to lose.
