Competitive fight. Two limited boxers, GGG probably the better brawler. I'll go with GGG by late stoppage or close decision with Canelo badly fading in the end.
anyone got some details on GGG's amateur career? I understand he was a good Amateur, i have respect for world class amateur boxers.
He was a silver medallist in the 2004 Olympics, and the 2003 world amateur champion at Middleweight. He beat Andy Lee, Andre Dirrell, and Daniel Geale during his amateur career, and also KO'd Lucian Bute.
Beautiful. He's a good fighter, he'll get outboxed by a slickster who with good defense, but anyone who is willing to slug it out with him is in for a surprise. Exciting style.
this would be a chess match in the first 5-6 rounds, and unless Canelo improves his poor conditioning, considering his level, then GG would probably find his range and win a decision, possibly get a late stoppage
