The more I watch the Castillo-Floyd fight the more I respect Floyd and the more I hate Vitali.

Floyd was taking a beating in that fight and delivering it back without once stepping down. He KNEW he might lose the fight on the cards.. but he want to go out on his shield like a warrior.

    Floyd Mayweather Jr:
    Weight: 138

    Jose Luis Castillo:
    Weight: 147

    Vitali Klitschko
    Height 6'7
    Weight: 245

    Chris Byrd
    Height: 6'0
    Weight: 205

So Vitali quit against someone weighting 40 pounds less.. Floyd went to war against someone who was the bigger man. Both have the same injury. Think about this people.

    Seriously think about this.

If you don't come out of this thread having LESS respect for Vitali, you are not a true boxing fan.

Floyd is a much higher level fighter than Vitali. Vitali threw away his zero while ahead on the scorecards is just shameful.

Anyone who knows Floyd knows he got a ton of heart.

I always give Mayweather his props...he is a great fighter. But give up a source for the info on a torn rotator cuff during the Castillo fight...:good

I doubt theres proof but in the corner after the 1st round he says 'my shoulders hurting' .. after the fight he didn't rematch castillo for a long time and as far as im aware it was because he had shoulder surgery.. castillo even had time to fit in a fight inbetween rematching floyd

    **** yourself you homo.

A torn rotator cuff injury can end your career, and that's if you're a Pitcher or Quarterback, let alone what it can do to a boxer that relies on that arm for offense & defense. Not to mention not all injuries are created equal.

Carry on though, this site can always use an extra asshat..............

  9. Vitali is not only a guilty of using peds at least once in his career, but also quit against a complete bum.

Floyd, being outweighed by Castillio soldiered through and won on points, doing what he had to do.

Complete bum?! I am not saying anything about Floyd, Vitali, quitting or not quitting, but anyone who calls Chris Byrd a complete bum is just ****ing stupid. Chris Byrd was a very good fighter and chose to fight at heavyweight for greater reward when he could have stayed at light heavyweight or cruiserweight. Byrd turned pro at 169 lbs.! You should look Chris Byrd up on facebook and apologize, ask him for his address, then show up and let him kick you in the nuts.

Hasnt Vitali basically admitted that if he knew how badly the quit job would have hurt his reputation in America he would have soldiered on or did I make this up

:rofl How could there not be proof of a torn rotator cuff??

He admitted that. which is also admitting he literally quit. That means he could have 'soldiered on' but didn't. If he really couldn't he would have said 'there was no way for me to continue that fight' but he admit that.

In a way it's a good thing. because if the Byrd fight never happened Vitali would have quit on his stool against Lewis..

The fight was just about even on my scorecard with Byrd still coming on.

I had Bryd down by 1 point.. but if Vitali hadn't quit Byrd would have wont the remaining rounds. I think he would have been robbed though.
