"I think Degale should just sit tight at the moment, didn't he fight on May 17th..? now IS not the time to panic. Look at the incredible job Hennesey has did with Tyson Fury. Degale just needs to get his fights on channel 5 and he is fine. I have heard more casual no mark fans talk about Tyson Fury fights than Froch vs Kessler"....

Channel 5 even though it is a **** channel, lazy, **** and tacky.

    Is this terrestrial TV.

I think Mick has done okay for him. Funnily enough I think at the stage of his career DeGale was at after that Groves result...Mick was not a bad place for him. He needed to rebuild, lose a little ego, just do things quietly under the radar a little and improve. Stop trading off that gold medal and ego, I think that was important, to get back to the basics, forget about what has come before and work upwards.

I think for the most part he's done that, and he's had some solid fights like Zuniga and that French bloke who put him under pressure, all while still being available to see on Channel 5.

End of the day that Gold medal is only a useful marketing tool if you do the business and it was important to get back to a position where he's credible at world level, I think by and large they've moved towards that and he's a step or two away. It may be that he has to move to a promoter with a little more clout if he's to really make waves against the big boys at 168lbs, but I can't really criticize what Mick has done.

People think too much about Great Britain, we are a small island.

Groves is fighting on sky..? big deal.

Tyson Fury has hit america, and James Degale is also on the road.

The world is a big place, and business is bigger than Great Britian.
