I voted Timurziev, he is a superb boxer.

But Id put money on Zhilei.

Cause he is a pretty good fighter and I cant help but think of the debacle in Seoul coming back in these games.
I think you will see China do very well in these games.

    Alfonso not a good chance?

I agree; so long as Michael qualifies in Guatemala, which I think he will.

I voted Vyacheslav Glazkov, but i'll take "black horse" Helenius to be champ.

Without a doubt Timurziev is the big favourite to win gold at the upcomming olmypic tournament in China.A healthy Timurziev is almost a sure bet to win the gold medal.Cant really see a fighter who is able to beat the healty version of Timurziev.
Camarelle is a good capable fighter who has the chance to upset Timurziev, but lets be honest he would probably lose 8 out of 10 fights against the Russian.
Michael Hunter? A greenhorn who is no match for Timurziev. He just doesnt have the pop and skills to pose a serious threat to Timurziev.
Helenius? He even struggles with unknown no-hopers in Germany's amateur league.
    Glazkov? Far too limited !
The big Chinese? Timurziev,a healthy Timurziev, will murder him.

I think Cammarelle takes it, he looks dangerous in the ring.

If Timurziev is healthy it would be a big upset if he doesn't win he is clearly the best of the bunch. Cammarelle is decent but got lucky at the last WC and advanced to the final because of two wins by Walkover. Helenius wasn't even able to qualfy until now and even is he does, he is just a big stiff, no chance in hell. Hunter? WTF? Timurziev already beat him at the WC easily. I don't see how he could deteriorate so much within a year that he would lose to that guy. And I agree, the Cuban should have a place in the poll.

The Cubans always have the ability to upset other nations' apple cart.Lots of heavy and young gifted boys on that carribean island.
