Are you experiencing any symptoms of overtraining? Frequently sore? Unmotivated? Tired? No one can tell you if you are overtraining or not, it's your body.

Why exactly are you doing 100 sit ups anyway? The benifits are neglegible.

what do you mean by the benifits are neglegible?
    sit ups strenghten the abs

and i would do like two hundred sit ups three times a week or something like that just to be sure you dont over train.

They do not strengthen the abominals...unless you cannot preform a high number of repetitons. They increase endurance, not strength.

endurance is a form of strength.

True, true, but I'm pretty sure he was referring to maximal strength.

What is the best way to actually strengthen abs? I see a lot of football players that have a bit of a gut, but you can still see abs behind all their fat. Whats the best way to actually increase the muscle size/strength of abs?

    try decline situps
if they become too easy you can grab a weight and hold it while donig decline situps.

I have been doing this and using 10 lbs now that I got stronger. Its the first time Ive ever experienced an noticable increase in ab strength.

The normal crunches/situps usually strained my neck.

Leg lifts are important as well and target a different section of the abs.

there are also fancier ways to do it with a medicine ball and a partner as well that are really hard to do

They probably work with a partner and use the medicine ball.

Its what most boxers do, atleast Ive seen them doing it often in footage. It will really kick your ass.
